Luxury

The team have now moved from Chang Rai to Mae Chan and they are quite happy to no longer have to use a squat toiler but have a flushable one. At the time I spoke to them, they were currently in Banana Village eating oranges! They are learning lots of languages (they have been in 3 tribes each of which have their own language) plus Thai as well. Sleeping is OK as they have improved their sleeping arrangements from bamboo floors (apparently not all that comfortable), onto concrete floors. They are getting to bed around 9:30pm-10pm each night and geting up when the roosters crow around 6:15am!
The team still really values their prayers. They are getting a real spiritual workout. Overall it is all going well but a few of the team have colds but nothing worse thankfully. Keep praying for the individuals on the team as well as some of them are feeling a bit burdened with lots of things on their minds.
Thanks for your prayers!

hooray for flushing toilets! It's funny how the small things can make a difference.

We are praying for you morning and at night, we pray that God continues to bless you richly and sustain you.

(I've enjoyed reading the Psalms with you- Psalm 3:5 "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.")

I agree Alison, it is amazing how the small things can make home seem oh so far away. But fantastic too how this blog site can bring us together again as you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

What a blessing to get to experience such a difficult & challenging environment. Through this experience one gets to fully appreciate the "luxury" back home. Also through this experience, one becomes more ready to give than to take.

I am praying for health so that each of you can effectively exercise the "giving" aspect. God bless .....Wing

Great to hear of your adventures so far. We know that God will multiply the work.

In reading with you and praying there's certainly been a theme of perseverance. Well done all, on pushing on through. It’s great to hear that you’ve now got a chance to feel some of the burden lifted. Keep pressing on with God who’s strength will fill you and who will use your time to bless the people of Thailand.

I hope you’re all healthy (asap from now if not fully there at the moment!). God bless from here in Australia.
